The towers of Ildurath: The Tower of Knowledge

The Tower of Knowledge is the first and primary tower of Ildurath, it is where the majority of the academy is housed, and where the Council of Ildurath convenes. It is the home of Sha’andr, Ambriel, and Dhae’lhan and is the location where all guests are entertained and all visitors are welcomed.

The Tower of Knowledge is situated atop a peninsula along the Sword Coast of Faerun, along the western most edge of Ildurath. All students of the academy are housed in the Tower of Knowledge (with the exception of those given leave to adventure), as are all members of the Calan’Dae and most of the Calan’Ahn.

Over the past couple of years, a small village (Elda’ae) has been constructed on the peninsula near the outermost walls of the Tower – directly along the main path that winds up to the tower’s gatehouse. It was constructed to support the many visitors that come to Ildurath but are not, unto themselves, a part of the academy.
